'Gus' Crawford Aircrew Award Eligibility Criteria & Submission Requirements

This award identifies and recognizes an individual and/or crewmember(s) whose flying efforts and professionalism epitomize APSA’s motto, “To Serve, Save and Protect from the Air.” Nominees must have been APSA members in good standing when the event occurred, and the event must have occurred between April 1st of the year prior to award and March 31st of the year of award. In addition, membership in APSA must be current through the date of award acceptance.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  1. The nominator must submit his or her name and be an APSA member in good standing for at least one year at the time the nomination is made.
  2. The nominee(s) must be an APSA member in good standing for at least one year at the time the nomination is made, and membership in APSA must be current through the date of award acceptance.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Description of Nomination, outlining what actions occurred that led to the nomination (No more than three (3) typed pages; 1 file allowed; 1.5mb; .doc or .docx format).
  2. A quality digital photo of the nominee (1 file allowed; 5mb; .jpg format).
  3. Copies of newspaper or magazine articles and videos are also welcome (Up to 3 files allowed; 5mb each).  
  4. Submission deadline extended to Friday, May 17, 2024.
